Camping Badlerhof
LOCATION
The Badlerhof campsite is located in Lasa/Laas, in the heart of Val Venosta/Vinschgau, a region known for its impressive mountain scenery and fertile orchards. The small village, affectionately known as „Marble Village“, is nestled in a rural setting at the foot of the Ortler group. The world-famous white Lasa marble quarried here even adorns the atrium of the Ground Zero subway station in New York. The campsite is perfectly located for discovering the beauty of the surrounding area: Located directly on the Via Claudia Augusta, cyclists can easily set off in the direction of Lake Reschen or Merano. The Stelvio National Park, the Prader Sand biotope, cultural sights, castles and museums are also nearby.
Undercover pitches
At Camping Badlerhof there are well-kept, grassy pitches available, which are pleasantly shaded by trees – ideal for warm summer days. The pitches differ in size: „Standard pitch“ (up to 75 m²), „Comfort pitch“ (80–100 m²) and „Premium pitch“ (105–120 m²). All pitches have an electricity connection, drinking water connection and a drain for gray water.
The sanitary facilities are modern, clean and friendly. The showers are located in private cubicles with washbasins and mirrors. Children have their own child-friendly bathroom with shower, toilet, washbasin, baby bath and changing table.
For relaxation, the campsite offers a small wellness oasis with whirlpool and waterfall (12:00 pm - 4:00 pm) and a sauna area with steam bath, Finnish sauna, aroma showers and relaxation room (4:00 pm - 10:00 pm).

The Badlerhof campsite impresses with a comprehensive range of services. In the Badl Café with its sunny terrace, guests can enjoy coffee, apple strudel, ice cream sundaes or hearty South Tyrolean snacks. A shady playground is available for children, equipped with a nest swing, slide, trampoline, sandpit and small vehicles. For older children there is a table tennis table to let off steam.
With the free VenostaCard, guests can use all public transport in South Tyrol free of charge - an environmentally friendly and stress-free way to discover the region.
ACTIVITY AND LEISURES
The Venosta Valley offers countless opportunities for active holidaymakers. Hiking and cycling trails lead directly from the campsite through the valley or up into the mountains. The location on the Via Claudia Augusta is ideal for cycling tours along the Adige, for example to Lake Reschen or to Merano.
A wide range of leisure activities await guests: night hike to the Maseben observatory, sunrise tour over Lake Reschen or e-bike excursion to the Schliniger Alm with a visit to the cheese dairy. There are also guided tours through the organic dairy in Prad, bread baking in the wood-fired oven at the Niederwieshof farm or a bee experience tour in the Stilfserjoch National Park. The marble experience tour through the marble world of Lasa/Laas is another highlight.
Sports enthusiasts can take part in shooting training at the Martell biathlon center. A new feature is the hiking cab in Matsch, which takes hikers to the Glieshütten several times a day - an ideal starting point for alpine tours. Not to forget: the atmospheric „Marble and Apricot“ festival, which celebrates the culinary and cultural diversity of Lasa every year.
